I appreciate my inner self mostly when I know that I know without any real fact or material proof. It has to do with a deeper kind of wisdom, the little voice inside each of us that says, “I believe life can be better than this; I am ready to try something different. I am moving forward into the light. Follow the rainbows!

  1. I am neither smart nor wise. Reading your recent post echoed words of wisdom from those far wiser than I.

“Wisdom comes alone through suffering.” Aeschylus
“Courage is doing what you are afraid to do. There can be no courage if there is fear.” Eddie Richenbacher
“One doesn’t discover new lands without consenting to lose sight of the shore for a very long time.” Andre Gide
“Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one’s courage.” Anaïs Nin
“Talents are best nurtured in solitude. Character is best for the stormy billows of the world.” Goethe

I’m just a simple ole Gus.
